Anstatt Sklave von Algorithmen, die sicherlich teilweise auch gute Ergebnisse erzielen, zu sein hat man hier eine wirkliche gute Kontrolle über das Ergebnis auch wenn man eben selbst Hand anlegen muss. Von Nichts kommt Nichts und der Arbeitsaufwand ist obendrein auch noch sehr sehr klein. Toll - für den Preis eine absolute Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.

Schade - Programm sieht toll aus. Auf iPad 1 nicht zu benutzen - braucht eeeeeewig um auf eine Eingabe zu reagieren :-( naja vielleicht funzt es ja auf unserem iPad 2 besser.

Funktionen sind beschränkt auf künstlerische Bearbeitung. Wenn man seine Fotos effektiv bearbeiten möchte und nicht Fotos malerisch verändern, dann hat diese App wesentlich kaum was zu bieten. Naja, sollte jeder selbst entscheiden, für gratis kann man es mal ausprobieren.

Mit etwas Einarbeitung erzielt man wunderschöne Ergebnisse und kann seiner Kreativität freien Lauf lassen.

Super um schnell ein paar Bilder zu verfremden. Einfach zu bedienen. Macht echt Spaß!

Relativ gutes Bearbeiten der Bilder möglich, für 2,79€ fehlen jedoch zu viele Features (Bsp: Spiegeln)!

Es gibt bessere Apps die kosten dann zwar ein paar Euro aber die sind es auch Wert . Viel besser als jede App ist der Adobe Photoshop auf dem MacBook

Die App reagiert beim malen nur mit enormer Zeitverzögerung

Leider keine Möglichkeit an manchen Stellen genauer nach Handlinie zu malen, stattdessen ist man immer im Scatter-Modus. Aber an sich eine tolle App, um aus dem Photo eine Gemälde zu zaubern.

Für ältere iPad Modelle (z. B. 1) immer noch State of the Art. Für neuere iPad Modelle sollte PhotoViva ein Update erhalten. Die App ist es wert erhalten zu werden.

I’ve been using this app for a few years and keep coming back to it for its manipulation of color. Fun and effective! I do want better brush dynamics and integration w Apple Pencil, as well as smart masking to break images into layers. Overall awesome App!

The painting part is fine. Unless you’re already a painter I don’t see this doing much - works like you’d expect but you’re painting on top of one of your pics... if you’re not talented then not sure if it’s merits. IMHO it’s nothing special - maybe better on an iPad? The ‘auto-paint’ is a complete waste.

Sorry I have to disagree with the negative posts. They just haven't learned how to properly use the features in this great app. This is my go to app for my photo fixes. Love the 3 color balance slide and the ability to airbrush photos. I also love the ability to sharpen images. I have used the 'Hue' feature to do some photo altering for cool effects. I don't really use the canvass paint part much but like I said, I use this app to correct photos and it's superb! I love it!!! Don't hesitate to get this. 👍🏼😁😁😁😁

This app is truly a hidden treasure. Do NOT let the extremely low price fool you... Once you've watched the demo video on the app maker's website, you will see that this app has amazing painterly effects that you will not find in ANY other paint package (including Photoshop, Fractal Design Painter / Corel Painter, and many other expensive PC-based software packages). With an easy, point-and-click UI, the app lets you choose combinations of cleverly-chosen brush shapes, angles, and color sources (including having your brush color be taken from a photo that you have loaded) that produce literally thousands of different mind-blowing effects which can be tailored to the feeling of each image. Without a lot of artistic skill, you can get Impressionist/Expressionist-like painterly effects with dots, natural brush strokes, or beautiful calligraphy-like sharp strokes, you can paint with digital blocks or swathes of color on the image to gain a modern effect, or you can apply a huge variety of image processing techniques (including HDR, blur, hue, saturation) either to your image as a whole, to a region of the image, OR simply to the color being used for the brush. The genuis of this app is how each tool feeds the next in a chain, so by combining effects you can bring out incredible imagery that probably even the app designer has never seen! Even if you are not interested in painting on your image, the app's unusually good HDR feature, in combination with an easy-to-use crop feature and tools to control image shadows, midtones, and bright areas and the sharpen/blur/hue/saturation settings make this a nice solution for beautifying less-than-stellar photos. On the other hand, it's not freaking rocket science either! Watch the video on the website and you'll immediately get a sense of what's possible AND what buttons to push to get that. People who can't even be bothered to watch a few minute demo shouldn't be leaving reviews, or they should confine themselves to the games category in the App Store. Some reviewers have suggested that they want a "layers" or "text" feature in the app. I think that's kind of like suggesting that one's favorite pencil, ruler, or paintbrush should also be able to make photocopies. I think it's better to think of this app as an extremely versatile tool in an artist's workshop. You can easily export images from this app to Photoshop or other compositing tools to combine with other imagery. I think adding some really heavyweight features like layers would overcomplicate the UI. Just my opinion though. Definitely buy this app! For just a few bucks you can get unique effects that you won't even see in $800 Photoshop!

Awesome! Really good app, but I don't think that it should cost money. Like, it's good, but it's not THAT good for it to cost you money.

An image processing app that can not add words to pics, how can it be?i bought this for add funny words to my pictures but it just do not have this function.

You can't fill in large spaces with out going through a tedious amount of effort and it's very hard to be precise. Microsoft paint is better.

Don't bother with this app, they make it look really cool but it is terrible!

Good app before this update however It practically doubles in download size. I don't see how you come up with it using less memory. Deleting...

If this had a gallery where I could save work during the process instead of having to start over if the app quits, I'd give it 5 starts. My last painting took 6 tries before I was able to finish it. Love the results, hate starting over!

It's a nice app but after several times drawing it takes over 400 MB for memory. It's really an unacceptable flaw. Please fix it.

Works perfectly. I can turn my pictures into watercolor drawings. This is great and very creative. Highly recommend. Just don't close the app until you are done with the picture and then save. No problems

Why I cannot download this app on the other tablet with same accounts? I already purchased the app.

I have been waiting for this app. I can't begin to tell you how much enjoyment and satisfaction it's provided me with. On my first iPhone(2), I had an amazing app called OilCanvas, that allowed me to create a painting from my photos by choosing different brush sizes and rubbing on the screen to activate paint-like dabs. I loved it and got pretty good at it. The problem was that the app didn't keep up with iPhone upgrades. I had to let it go a couple phones ago. This app does everything OilCanvas did times 50. There are multiple brushes, fine tuning of brush sizes and you can use pinch zoom to in for fine detail! I can achieve a high res, professional looking "oil painting" in about 15 minutes of work. I just put in about 90 minutes on an amazing piece. I've done paintings on both the iPhone and iPad and it works beautifully for both. Heads up: SAVE often. It may not be immediately apparent, but click on the check mark to save, then on the brush to resume painting. Save to photo by clicking on the camera icon and selecting from several choices. Love it!

Since I have been forced to restart the same project eight times now due to the app forgetting that I was working on something, I am compelled to change my review. I am EXTREMELY happy with what I produce with this app, but getting there is nigh on impossible. The problem: The designers of this app apparently don't understand that some projects can take several hours, and folks might need to take a break. Without a Gallery to save a project to, taking a break from a project runs a very high risk of finding all one's hard work GONE, and being forced to start over. Honestly, if it weren't for the FANTASTIC RESULTS I am able to achieve, this review would be Zero Stars. Please, please, please, please, please add a Gallery to this app, even if it's an in-app purchase! This is a good app that could be a great one.

No easy way to save the paintings.

I really enjoy this app because has so many features that I can use on all kind of pics. You can improved your portraits, landscaping,macro and other. I recommend this app. without any reservation, muchas gracias a los creadores de este programita.

I bought this app and I LOVED it, BUT I didn't use it for a while and when I wanted to go on it sated it need to finish downloading and that it might take a while, once it finished every time I tried to click on camera or photos it went back to my home screen. It only let's me do the practice ones that it comes with, I even tried getting to my photos and camera through that but it did nothing, please help.

Really love this app. First thing I always check is the resolution image is saved at and PhotoViva does not disappoint. There are a lot of adjustment tools and brushes making it almost impossible to not create a masterpiece. Says its coming the Mac as well which I will love. I watched the video on website and made it much easier to figure out how to use PV. I would recommend a help file being added and maybe the video to the app so people dont have to leave the app and go to apps website. Some do not always have internet when they are using an app. Fabulous job and for today I would recommend this highly *****+ P.S. the only reason I say today is I have noticed many app devs updating their apps and removing features and lowering the res an image is saved at.

This app really allows you to be very colorfully creative :) I love the amount of control I have over the brushes and colors. You can really have a lot of fun working with your pictures. Thanks for a great app!

A good app but needs some thing more for being how much it is but pretty cool I would recommend this but don't blame me if you don't like it!

If you like the picture to art concept, this app allow you to control a lot of the parameters to get to a great result. Very similar to the technic used in painter 11 from Corel. No automatic mode though, it would have been great to have both. Well done guys! J

When I redownloaded on my 5s (bye Samsung) I was surprised to see this didn't have any reviews yet, this is absolutely a great little app! It has tons of useful and tasteful features and unique paint effects that I haven't been able to find in such a nice package in other apps. While the zoom in feature means you can do detail on your phone, it really shines on iPads, and the settings are layered nicely so that there is real tweakability if people want it, but it's not overwhelming. There are so many possibilities! Truly a fun and creative app!

What a wonderful app! I have only had it a couple of days, but it is already in my circle of favorite photo editors. I can quickly accomplish my basic photo editing needs with PhotoViva, plus add multiple unique effects that are quite intuitive and original. I also need to give a Kudo's to the developer for making sure my email inquiry was answered promptly. Thank you! I will surely recommend this app to my friends. Thank you again for providing such a great app!

Photoviva WAS my favorite app Until the Liquify filter became a Mirror & Warp filter not a true Liquify filter. It is Not what it use to be! I am very disappointed in the update & no longer use photoviva as often. I really Wish they would Fix the Liquify filter to be a liquify. Not lie and call a mirror & warp a liquify. Why didn't they just add a new filter instead of taking away my favorite one?

Great app!!! Once you learn how to work it, the possibilities are endless. There's tutorials to help and ideas for inspiration. Even has a one click option that does every thing for you. But with your great imagination, you can do amazing things. It has 20 brushes to choose from. That's my only complaint though, wish they would add more brushes.

PhotoViva is an amazing app!! It's versatile and superbly artistic- a must have for every one interested in creating outstanding pictures. Sometimes I use its airbrush for simple things like correcting skin imperfections( obviously this app is much more than this)) One can create so many different effects- it blows your mind. PhotoViva filters alone are a true gem. This app requires certain patience because it's so creative, but results are simply beautiful. Photos won't come out looking so "edited" that everyone will recognize which app was used to render them. Watching their video will certainly help, but as with any creative app, one should experiment with all their tools to get the best possible results. I personally place PhotoViva on the pedestal along with iColorama and Percolator.

This app is great. It allows you to edit more details than most other editing apps. Definitely worth downloading.

Great functionality that turns my photos into masterpieces. Highly recommended!

Now this app takes some time to get used to and it has a learning curve. But once you get comfortable, you can really get some creative masterpieces from this! There's an automatic mode, but the 'manual' mode gives you that "artist" feel to editing.

It was boring and confusing and not worth it

Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve, (which I'd probably complete a lot faster if I'd watch the tutorials!) but I can tell I've barely scratched the surface and I'm already impressed! It's kind of a hybrid of an auto paint-type app and a complex editing fx app. I'm still learning but this one is worth it! :)

It has many great features but seems to be an app that is designed for a professional rather than an amateur. The price tag is somewhat steep. Somewhat hard to navigate but still a top tier photo editing app!!

I like this app, but it really needs options for random brush rotation (maybe a slider for how much) and random brush size variation (slider for the amount of that too). If this functionality was added the app would be stellar!

Very cool app. I wanted something more than just click and apply filter and this gave me more freedom.

This app is pretty awesome and it really does look like it has been painted. I love the Autopainting feature & another setting called "Blend Away" which allows you to mix the amount of the painted image with the original. It also has high resolution output. My only wish is that it had layers or a method where you could paint from two different images. For example, load two images and then choose which one to clone from.

Photoviva by far exceeded my expectations of a creative photo app. It's very powerful and user friendly. It makes even the most boring photos into works of art. A picture of my laundry room now looks like a Picasso! Seriously, what more could you want?
